Master's
MS - Occupational Therapy
On Campus

Barry University's Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy is for students who wish to obtain an entry-level position in occupational therapy and for licensed bachelor's-degree level occupational therapists. (Occupational therapists enter the second year of the program and may graduate with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 13 months.) On-campus occupational therapy courses are scheduled on two weekends each month in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, so that you may continue to work while preparing for a professional career. You also complete fieldwork placements after the first and second year of study. Students are admitted once a year in the fall semester, but if you meet most criteria for admission, you may be eligible to enter a summer "jump-start" program. A maximum of 25 students are accepted into the program each year.

Accreditation Information: The program is approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Barry is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
