The Hollins' summer master's program in screenwriting and film studies is designed to attract those interested in screenwriting as well as those interested in the academic study of film. the program offers courses of study in the writing of screenplays and the study of the history, aesthetics, and theory of the art of film. During a yearly six-week term, the program runs from mid-June through the end of July. The degree can typically be competed in three to five summers.
