We have two tracks at the master's level: a professional track and a research/teaching track. The professional track offers an accelerated program focused on newspaper, magazine, and online writing, editing, and reporting and is open to students who do not have an undergraduate degree in journalism or journalism experience. The emphasis of the research/teaching track is the study of the media in society.
