The M.S. degree in International Affairs at Georgia Tech is a two-year program designed to provide students with the quantitative and qualitative analytic skills and advanced theoretical knowledge necessary to engage in international strategic planning and policy analysis. The program includes core courses in:
  • International Relations Theory
  • Comparative Politics
  • International Political Economy
  • International Security
  • Empirical Research Methods
  • Modeling, Forecasting, and Decision Making
Students will also have the opportunity to tailor the program to their individual interests through elective offerings in the School and interdisciplinary work in the Schools of Economic, Management, Public Policy, Computer Science, the College of Engineering, and others. M.S. graduates will be prepared for professional careers in corporate planning and strategy, policy analysis, and government service, as well as admissions to top Ph.D. programs.
