A pathway leading to a PhD degree and a rewarding career in the biomedical sciences with opportunities in academia, industry, and government.

A dedicated interdepartmental faculty and state-of-the-art research labs employing the latest molecular techniques and experimental models. A curriculum which combines core courses in biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology with unique integrated courses covering anatomy, physiology, and human disease (pathology) from a research perspective.The goal of our program is to train young research scientists who will understand the many challenges in curing human disease and who will have the knowledge and skills to participate in these endeavors.
