The program's faculty is engaged in intensive research with direct relevance to cancer, AIDS and other infectious diseases, muscular dystrophy's, and other genetic disorders. This specialized training program is a part of the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Graduate Program (INTBP) at the University of Pittsburgh.
