Students are provided with clinical experiences in both athletic training and sports medicine facilities and laboratory experiences in the Neuromuscular Sports Medicine Research Laboratory. The PhD program is structured to provide coursework int he major academic areas of sports medicine, physiology, research methodology, statistics, anatomy and pathokinesiology. Students are provided extensive experience in the Neuromuscular Sports Medicine Research Laboratory within the UPMC Sports Performance Complex, Center for Sports Medicine.
