The Master of Science in Physics program prepares you for further study of physics at the PhD level, to teach at the junior college level or to work in industry. Faculty will work closely with you to design a course of study that reflects your interests, background and career goals. The program consists of coursework, research, seminar participation and a final research report or critical essay. A formal thesis is not required. The degree usually takes two academic years to complete.
