The Master of Music program enhances your understanding of and proficiency in music, and provides opportunities for your growth as a performer, conductor, composer, arranger, studio instructor and school music teacher. You can earn a Master of Music with any of the following majors: conducting (choral or instrumental), music education, pedagogy (instrumental, piano, or voice), or performance (instrumental, piano, or voice).
The Doctor of Philosophy in Music Education program prepares you to lead and advocate for music education practice as a teacher educator, curriculum leader and researcher. Core concepts in the program include constructivism, multiple perspective, and multiculturalism in music learning and teaching.
We also offer graduate certificates (for those holding a bachelor's degree) and post-master's certificates (for those holding a master's degree).
