This program prepares you for instructional opportunities both in the classroom and the workplace. The formal BTE curriculum in Florida is offered in Middle school, Secondary, Post-secondary, Technical and Community College environments. Office and technical training opportunities are growing in most industries throughout the state. Presently, there is a high demand for business educators in the State of Florida, both in schools and the workplace.

Plan I - A program of study designed for those with a baccalaureate degree in Business Technology Education and appropriate initial teacher certification who desire to increase their competence in the Business Technology Education specialization or receive professional preparation in one of the service areas.
Plan II - A program of study designed for the holder of a non-education baccalaureate degree who desires to meet initial teacher certification requirements for grades 6 - 12 as part of a planned program leading to the Master of Arts degree.
