Frequently reviewed by the New York media, over 200 performancesùfrom solo recitals to ensemble concerts and full opera and music theatre productionsùare presented by our department each year. Master classes are presented several times each week throughout the academic year. Graduate offerings include programs leading to the Master of Arts degree, the sixth-year Certificate of Advanced Study, and the Ph.D. and Ed.D. degrees. In addition, the Master of Music degree is offered in music technology. The graduate program in music therapy is accredited by the American Association of Music Therapy (AAMT) and leads to New York State Licensure as a creative arts therapist.
