In terms of the number of faculty specialists, our department is particularly strong in Cultural Anthropology and Archeology (in addition to our own faculty, the archaeologists at the Florida Museum of Natural History supervise students and teach courses). In terms of world areas, we are strong in (but not limited to) Latin America/Caribbean, Africa, and Southeast USA.
