The program provides graduate students with an opportunity to earn a certificate in Gender Studies. The program requires a core course in feminist theory and four courses that are either in Gender Studies curriculum or in another department and are approved by the Gender Studies program. Departments with strong offerings in gender studies include Anthropology, Art History, English, French and Italian, Philosophy, Political Science, Radio/Television/Film, Religion, Sociology, Theatre, and Comparative Literary Studies.
