Adult Nurse Practitioner specialty prepares the advanced practice nurse to diagnose and manage primary health needs of adults, especially those of the vulnerable, the under-served, and diverse populations. The Dual Track specialties of Adult Primary or Acute and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner prepares the advanced practice nurse to diagnose and manage primary health needs of adults and/or provide advanced palliative care for patients, families during serious, progressive illnesses. Nursing administration specialty is designed to prepare the nurse as an administrator with advanced knowledge of nursing theory and practice.MSN/MBA dual degree specialty is for the baccalaureate prepared nurse, but whose career goals are in upper management in health care facilities, business, or other service organizations.     Accreditation Information: The nursing program, graduate and undergraduate, are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education; North Central Association Higher Learning Commission.  # Of Credits Required:   Time To Degree:     Previous Degrees Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.  Pre-Requisite Courses Undergraduate courses in: Statistics Pathophysiology Physical Assessment  International Student Requirements 1. Official school records including subject studied, grades and degrees earned, graduation dates and copy of diploma • Students are required to submit an official transcript of credits from each institute, college, or university attended. • Applicants may be required to submit transcript evaluation result by World Education Services (WES) or Education Credential Evaluation (ECE) 2. Official test results indicating English proficiency. • TOEFL score of at least 550 (Paper-Based), 213 (Computer based) with Test of Written English [TWE] of 5, 79-80 (Internet Based); MELAB score of 80, or IELTS score of 6.5.; • Applicants who do not meet this requirement will be required to take an English placement test administered by Madonna University.
