The Department of Neurobiology, Pharmacology and Physiology offers courses of study leading to a doctor of philosophy degree in pharmacology and physiology to medical and graduate students in the physical and biological sciences. Major research areas are program concentrating in the nervous system, including neurobiology, neuropharmacology, psychopharmacology, cellular and molecular physiology and endocrinology.
