The Au.D. program is designed to produce audiologists who are fully competent to function independently in all diagnostic and rehabilitative settings, serving individuals of all ages who are deaf or hard of hearing. This program offers an intensive broadly based academic curriculum together with integrated sequential clinical experience. The program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and provides all necessary academic and clinical experience required for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). The US News 2001 ranking of graduate programs recently ranked Gallaudet's Audiology Program among the top 15 %.
