Shenandoah University's Division of Physical Therapy (PT) prepares students to be reflective practitioners who provide effective, evidence-based, compassionate care for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of movement dysfunction and to promote physical health and functional ability across the lifespan.

We accomplish this through an integrated, patient-centered curriculum with a low student/faculty ratio. Frequent patient care experience, community service by students and faculty and the integration of current technologies are key components of the PT education at Shenandoah University.

A portrait of a physical therapist is someone with a desire to help restore, maintain or promote people's overall fitness, wellness and quality of life. It is someone who knows that patients with injuries or disabilities can live a better life. It is someone with knowledge to diagnose and treat a wide variety of physical problems. It is someone who cares enough to try and help another live more productively. Are we describing you? If so, join us.

The Division of PT offers three avenues for admission into the entry level doctorate of physical therapy program: 1) Traditional Admissions, 2) Articulation Agreement, or 3) Shenandoah University undergraduate PT pre-admissions program. Admissions materials are available through Physical Therapy Centralized Application Materials at PTCAS.
