The program is designed to be flexible and research-oriented in order to develop the interests, capabilities and potential of all participating students for a career in one of the specialized areas of academic or industrial biomedical science. Interdepartmental collaboration in research and coursework provides each student with the opportunity to obtain a broad, diversified background in biomedical research.
