The Division of Theatre Arts is a professional training program leading to the degree of Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in acting, directing, dramaturgy/criticism, theatre management, and playwriting. While providing intensive professional training in each discipline, the philosophy of the program is grounded in the belief that the most enduring contributions to the art of the theatre depend on an intimate awareness of the entire process of theatrical production.
