We define public service broadly to include governmental organizations at all levels (national, state, local), private nonprofit organizations (NPOs/NGOs), and for-profit organizations that interact extensively with the public sector. The MPA core curriculum provides students with the essential analytical, administrative, and political skills to work effectively as public service professionals. Students then select from a wide offering of elective courses and specialized areas of study to deepen their analytical and managerial skills.
