Graduate students have an opportunity to select from four tracks of study (biochemistry, organic chemistry, biophysics and cheminformatics). In addition to the core medicinal chemistry courses, each track provides specialized training through coursework to prepare students for research in the chosen area of study. Prospective applicants to the graduate program in Medicinal Chemistry should have a demonstrated interest in research. To be considered for admission, applicants must submit an online application, which can be accessed on our website, along with three letters of recommendation, official transcripts, GRE general test scores, a 1 – 2 page statement of purpose and a personal statement (describing any personal issues / experiences that should be taken into consideration). TOEFL scores are also required if English is not the native language. The application fee is waived for U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
