The program focuses on the synthesis of education, training and skills needed to be an effective manager in the justice system. The program also offers customized degrees for military, law enforcement, security, corrections, and adjudication professionals. For many, the MJA degree provides the necessary credentials to take advantage of the growing number of leadership positions that are now available. Others find that the masterÆs degree opens the door to a rewarding career in teaching, or to continue their studies to the doctoral degree. The MJA degree is designed to accommodate your demanding work and home-life schedule and is built specifically for working professionals, with a uniquely flexible mode of study. You attend virtual seminars, student forums, and asynchronous discussion groups, all without leaving the comfort of your own home. After finishing 36 credits of coursework û divided in 6 seminars (two per semester) û and attending a one-week residency at our beautiful campus in Vermont, you will graduate and become a member of successful alumni.
