The minor in women's studies is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on feminist scholarship in the humanities and the social sciences. The program not only explores the histories and situations of women in different cultural and social contexts but also examines how the institutionalization and representation of sexual difference structures social relations, cultural values, and educational parameters.
This is a minor field. Application for admission is made only to the major fields. After matriculation, a student may select minor subjects from the major or minor fields.
For an application, visit the Graduate School's website at Cornell University.
