On Campus   The Adult Nurse Practitioner track was added to the Primary Health Care Major of the MSN Program in 1997 to meet the growing health care needs of an aging, culturally diverse population, locally and nationally. This specialty prepares nurse practitioners to apply their primary care knowledge and skills in alternative settings, such as assisted living facilities, rehabilitation settings, and home care.
