Established in 1961, the school is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and operates within the structure of the cytology laboratory, providing students with a wide range of technical and cytodiagnostic skills. Students process and microscopically evaluate specimens using state of the art technology such as ThinPrep« and the Thin Prep« Imaging System. Upon successful completion of the program, students demonstrating competence in both theoretical and practical aspects of the course are awarded a Certificate in Cytotechnology.
