The M.A. in French, German, Latin, and Spanish (Pedagogy Concentration) at Kent State University is a professional program for teachers. Required courses include 18 credit hours in composition, culture, literature, and oral discourse in the student's second language. Other required courses are Second Language Acquisition, Computers for Second Language Teaching, Second Language Curriculum and Testing, Teaching of Literature and Culture, and Research in Second Language Pedagogy. Degree requirements are 36 semester hours and a final project.
