Doctoral Ph.D. On Campus   The Department of Environmental Health Sciences is devoted to the study of the fundamental mechanisms responsible for disease processes initiated or aggravated by environmental agents. The realization that indoor as well as outdoor environments consist of complex interacting systems that require the development of new approaches to understand the basis of their action was the impetus for the creation of the department.
