The combined resources of the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Bartol Research Institute create an excellent environment for graduate study and research. The joint graduate program formed by this alliance includes 35 full-time faculty members. The program offers a broad choice of areas in which to pursue research. Most of the 74 graduate students are preparing for the degree of Ph.D. in Physics.
