The graduate program in Applied Sociology is sponsored jointly by Norfolk State University and Old DominionUniversity. The program is designed to train students in the application of sociological knowledge and skills and tofurther their understanding of issues and problem resolution in contemporary society. Students seeking the Master of Arts degree are required to complete an equal number of approved courses on the campus of each university. Old Dominion University serves as the Institution of Record for this program.
