Graduate study in pharmaceutical sciences leads to the degree of Master of Science (M.S.) and/or the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). These programs are designed to prepare students for teaching and research careers in academia, the pharmaceutical industry and in public and private research institutions. Students enrolled in the pharmaceutical sciences graduate program are expected to select an area of specialization: Medicinal Chemistry,Pharmacology, Toxicology or Pharmaceutics.
