Application of these principles is also covered. The fields covered by the research with nonhuman animals include: instrumental and classical conditioning, animal memory, discrimination learning and attentional processes, and motivation. Faculty interests with humans include: memory (e.g., retrieval processes, recognition memory, and decision processes), learning, problem solving, and higher mental processes.
