Fields of teaching and research include atmospheric chemistry, dynamic meteorology, economic geology, geochemistry, geophysics, mineralogy, oceanography, paleontology, petrology, sedimentology, seismology, stratigraphy, and structural geology. In addition, courses may be taken in chemistry, physics, engineering, or biology.
