The program consists of a 15 credit core and an emphasis area with a minimum of 15 credits. In consultation with a faculty adviser, students develop an individualized program emphasis based on the core coursework. The emphasis areas are: Information Technology Management, Learning Technologies, Visual Communication Technology and Technology Coordinator.     Accreditation Information: The Graduate School at UW-Stout is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools (NCA) to offer programs at the master's and education specialist levels.  # Of Credits Required: 30  Time To Degree: 1-2 years    Previous Degrees BS/BA degree from an accredited institution, and an overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75.  Pre-Requisite Courses International Student Requirements Admission requirements include: (1) Admission to a graduate degree program and the Graduate School; (2) English proficiency TOEFL score of at least 173 computer-based and 500 paper-based or 213 computer-based, 550 paper-based depending on which program is chosen, and 61 Internet-based. Test scores should be sent directly to UW-Stout (school code #1740); (3) Official copies of all post-secondary transcripts (translated into English), including proof of baccalaureate and/or highest earned degree; (4) Undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale; (5) specific program requirements.
