The foundation curriculum provides knowledge, skills development and values that embody the generalist social work perspective. Upon this foundation rests the skills concentration areas of direct practice with individuals, families and groups and community organization and social administration. Each of these skill concentrations provides the in-depth, specialized knowledge and skills that will prepare students for advanced practice. The School also offers joint degree programs combining a Master of Social Work with a Master of Divinity, Juris Doctor (Law), Master of Public Health, Master of Public Administration or Master of Public Affairs.     Accreditation Information: Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)  # Of Credits Required:   Time To Degree:     Previous Degrees 60 credit MSW program consisting of 42 credits of course work and 18 hours of field work. Students who are eligible for advanced standing (must have a BSW degree, can earn their MSW degree by completing a 42 credit program consisting of 30 credit of course work and 12 hours of field work.  Pre-Requisite Courses All applicants must have a minimum of 30 credits in both the liberal arts and social sciences as well as a 3 credit course in statistics.  International Student Requirements Verification of English language proficiency is required. For all applicants who are citizens of a country where English is not the official language must submit the results from either the International English Language Tests (IELTS) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
