Master's
M.A.-Publications Design
On Campus

Conceptual thinking, writing and graphic design all converge in the M.A. in Publications Design program; students develop creative publications strategies, master electronic tools and adapt to emerging technologies. They hone habits of analysis and imagination that help them translate ideas into print and other media. The program's focus is on the integration of words and images in fields such as professional writing, magazine editing and design, public relations, Web design, advertising and corporate publications. In the dual capstone experience, students develop professional portfolios using the projects they have completed in the program, and they work in teams to solve major real-world design problems, as assigned by the faculty. The program is also offered at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Md.

Accreditation Information: The University of Baltimore is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
