The master's degree program provides students with the skills to design networks, establish or influence policy, make technology adoption and standards decisions, create cost models for new technology implementations, calculate return on investment, and grasp the organizational and user implications of networking systems. A Bridge Between Management and Technology The TNM program is not an engineering or programming degree. It is designed to give professionals a broader view of how to apply and use networking technologies to solve business problems. Effective management of telecommunications and networking requires an understanding of technology in its organizational context. One must know the protocols, systems, and hardware, but one must also understand budgets, organizational processes, user needs, vendors and the industry. The degree provides what an increasing number of businesses tell us they want: technology-savvy managers who can bridge the gap between the capabilities of IT and its implementation and use. The TNM degree is designed to meet the needs of professionals who are: * individuals with a technical or engineering background who lack skills in the management and user aspects of telecommunications and data networking; * middle managers who are considering a management degree but want more of a focus on telecommunications and networking; and * workers in the telecommunication industry with experience in the field who have undergraduate degrees in other areas and want to improve their credentials for job advancement Graduates of the TNM program have an outstanding placement record. Some programs require a master’s degree. International applicants must have graduated from colleges or universities that are recognized by the national educational authorities of their home countries.  Pre-Requisite Courses International Student Requirements * International applicants – Applicants who are citizens from the following English speaking countries are not required to submit TOEFL testing scores: Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Fiji, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Trinidad & Tobago and the United Kingdom.
