The Department of Pharmacology is a dynamic, scholarly environment dedicated to teaching, training, and fundamental discovery. The faculty enjoys working with students who seek out the many opportunities offered by the broad and diverse department. Academic courses available include traditional studies in pharmacology and in the related areas of biochemistry, molecular biology, neurosciences, endocrinology, and immunology. Usually, four to five years are needed to complete the Ph.D. program, including the time required to complete an original dissertation.
