The Museum Studies Program offers graduate-level core courses, cross-listed courses from associated academic disciplines, special projects utilizing the University Gallery and its collection, and practicums and internships at museums in the Delaware Valley region and beyond. The minimum period of study is two years for the completion of the required courses in Museum Studies and one's degree program. The principle curriculum focus of the program is on museum leadership and management, curatorship (collections management and exhibition), museums and modern technology, educational interpretation, and the public dimension of museums.
