The Personality and Social Ecology Program of the Department of Psychology trains students interested in research on personality, emotion, social cognition, and social ecology. The faculty offers research opportunities that treat psychological and social phenomena at multiple levels of analysis, ranging from basic questions about cognitive and affective processes to applied questions about coping with stressful life circumstances or engaging in social and community change.
