The MA is a 42 credit degree for students holding a New Jersey Department of Education "Teacher of the Handicapped" or "Teacher of Students with Disabilities" certification. The MAT is a 42 credit degree which includes 27 credits required for Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification.
