The purpose of the Doctor of Pharmacy program is to develop advanced-level pharmacists who can function as practitioners in hospitals, academia and industry. This post-baccalaureate program will prepare students for expanding roles in clinical practice which include safe, appropriate and economical use of drugs through the application of specialized skills, knowledge and functions in patient care. The curriculum provides advanced course work to prepare graduates to deliver pharmaceutical care by assuming responsibility for the outcomes of drug therapy in patients.
