The Committee on Genetics is part of the molecular biosciences cluster in the Division of Biological Sciences, which also includes the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Department of Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology, and the Committee on Developmental Biology. The cluster offers great flexibility in options for research; students admitted to the cluster may matriculate into any of the four participating units and change their affiliation at any time during their first year.
