M.S. - Statistical Science

The M.S. in Statistical Science is a flexible degree program aimed at providing training in several areas of the statistical sciences. The M.S. degree can have a professional focus as a tool for upgrading qualifications in a career setting which involves use of statistical methodology. An undergraduate major in mathematics or statistics is not required; successful candidates may have backgrounds in economics, business, the social sciences, engineering or the natural sciences. The professional degree is particularly flexible and may be tailored to meet a wide variety of career needs. Tracks exist in computational statistics, statistical signal processing, engineering statistics, applied statistics and federal statistics.
