The Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis Program brings together for research and teaching a diverse set of scientists who seek to understand how genes, cells and molecules fight infection, cancer and grafted cells, and how they misfire to cause autoimmune disease, and how some microbes evolve the ability to use the mammalian body for replication of their own genomes.
