The 33-hour engineering mechanics program, leading to a Master of Science (M.S.), consists of twelve semester hours in engineering mechanics; nine elective hours in engineering mechanics; six semester hours in mathematics; and six hours of research on an approved project or thesis. The thesis or project research may be replaced by nine hours of additional course work.
