Its strategy is to examine capitalist systems from global, institutional, and historical perspectives, emphasizing questions of economic policy. Thus, in addition to required courses in economic analysis and econometrics, our students study the emergence of capitalism, the structure and dynamics of advanced capitalism, the Third World in the global economy, and the history of economic thought.
