On Campus   Note: Pending approval, the VCU Department of Physical Therapy plans to implement a Doctor of Physical Therapy program (DPT) to replace the Entry Level Master of Science. The Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Allied Health Professions offers a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (Entry Level). The goal of this program is to provide a quality educational program that prepares students for entry into the profession of physical therapy. The program prepares students to evaluate and manage patients with physical therapy problems effectively and in accordance with ethical principles. The program also provides students with strategies to continually define and meet their own educational needs in order to keep skills and knowledge current throughout their professional careers.
