On Campus   The Master of Arts degree in the Biology Department is designed to provide a breadth of training while still allowing the opportunity to concentrate on an area of interest. Our course offerings, the Comprehensive Examination, and many other extracurricular activities (for example, weekly Departmental Seminars) reflect the breadth and depth within the Department. The Master of Science degree in the Department of Biology offers students the opportunity to pursue advanced study in biology through both coursework and independent research.
