Evolution, Ecology & Behavior
On Campus

Students interested in animal behavior, neuroscience, endocrinology or other behavior-related sciences have a number of research options in the IU Department of Biology. Our laboratories in these areas operate largely in an interdisciplinary setting collaborating extensively with the IU Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. Our Evolution, Ecology & Behavior Program is among the Top 10 in the United States. You will receive rigorous training in a collegial atmosphere, and work with some of the most respected scientists in their field. Admission to our program is competitive, and all doctoral students are fully supported for at least five years with assistantships and/or fellowships. We encourage applicants to apply online.
