International graduate student applicants must complete an Application Supplement for International Graduate Students provided by the Office of Graduate Admissions. All international graduate applicants for whom English is not their native language are required to have a minimum score of 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) paper-based exam (or 213 minimum score on the computer-based test), and may also be required to take additional placement tests for certain programs (i.e., MBA). Foreign students holding an undergraduate degree from outside of the United States also need to have their academic credentials evaluated by an independent organization. Currently, Sacred Heart University only accepts course-by-course evaluations from the World Education Service (WES).
